The specialty to be developed in this community is the basket weaving workshop, with natural fibers from the region that are grown, collected and transformed in a very artisanal way. Mocagua, located approximately 15 kilometers from Puerto Nariño in the Colombian Amazon, is a vibrant community known for its Maicuchiga foundation, which seeks to promote sustainable development and cultural conservation, whose wealth lies in the production of crafts typical of the region and the interaction with countless breeds of monkeys, which you can feed naturally in their habitat.
This emblematic place is a natural paradise where the beauty of flora and fauna merges in harmony! In this unique place, you can marvel at the presence of monkeys, macaws and other wild animals while you explore its trails on foot or by boat, and you can also enjoy a true local treasure: Chuchuwasa, an artisanal liquor with unique flavors that will delight your palate. And they will enrich your experience.
